The World Economic Forum has initiated the community of New Champions to acknowledge this next generation of industry leaders. The Forum provides a privileged platform tailored to New Champion companies and attuned to their growth aspirations across new regions, markets, cultures and regulatory systems.

Nearly 200 premier companies from around the world have joined as members since the community was launched in 2007.
At the Annual Meeting of the New Champions, the flagship event of the community, they join their peers to shape and define an agenda of growth with fresh ideas, innovative business models and new technologies. This year the meeting will take place in Tianjin, People’s Republic of China, 27-28 September 2008.
